Today the case is listed on office reference for extension of time to the trial Court. 2. PUD has been received from the Court of Special Judge (Prevention of Corruption Act) and 8th Additional Sessions Judge, Raipur, District - Raipur (C.G.) with a request for extension of time to conclude the trial as directed by this Court vide order dated 22.08.2024 passed in CRR No. 336 of 2022, wherein it has been directed to conclude the trial within one year from the date of receipt of copy of the order. Prayer is allowed and extension of time is granted. Further six months time is granted to the trial Court to conclude the trial. The time given shall start from today. 4. The learned trial Court is directed to annexed the copy of the order sheet to substantiate the submission that due to large number of witnesses, the trial could not be concluded. The trial Court is also directed to explain when the matter was fixed before the trial Court for recording of the evidence and why the proceedings were adjourned. 5. Let these facts be informed by the concerned trial Court to the Registry of this Court and thereafter the Registrar General is directed to place the same before this Court. 6.
