The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with the following prayer :- “It is, therefore, prayed that the petition may kindly be pleased to allow the instant petition and to set aside the impugned First Information Report registered against petitioner (Annexure P/1) at police station – Basna, District – Mahasamund, under section 341, 294, and 506 of I.P.C. at crime no. 511/2017, against the petitioner, or to pass any other relief as this Hon’ble Court may think fit in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to efflux of time, the instant petition has become infructuous. 4. In view of the same, the instant petition is dismissed as infructuous.
