IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA Execution Petition No.2353 of 2025 Date of Decision: 21.11.2025 __________________________________________________________________ Sh. Khem Nand ……...Petitioner Versus HPTDC and Another …....Respondents Coram Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Sharma, Judge. Whether approved for reporting? For the Petitioner: Mr. Om Parkash Goel, Advocate. For the Respondents: Ms. Maheshwari Sharma, Advocate. __________________________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, J. (Oral) Learned counsel representing the respondents states that 50% of the amount in terms of judgment sought to be executed stands paid and remaining 50% shall be positively paid within a period of four weeks. 2. While fairly acknowledging receipt of 50% amount, learned counsel representing the petitioner states that apart from arrears, interest on delayed payment is also required to be paid. 3. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court sees no reason to keep the present petition alive and accordingly the same is disposed of with the direction to respondents that balance amount, on account of arrears as well as interest on delayed payment, is paid expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six 2 weeks, failing which, petitioner would be at liberty to get the present petition revived so that appropriate action in accordance with law is taken towards the implementation of the order/judgment.
