By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “a. Issue I writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the advertisement dated 4.11.2014 issued by the President/Secretary of the Committee of Management of Mahila Vidhyalaya Degree College, Satikund Kankhal, Haridwar as well as the entire selection process initiated pursuant thereto including the recommendation if any of selection committee met on 20.12.2015. b. Issue I writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondents to initiate I fresh selection process for selection to the post of Principal Mahila Vidhyalaya Degree College, Satikund Kankhal, Haridwar by issuing I fresh advertisement and conclude the selection process strictly as per the provisions of the U.P. State Universities Act, 1973 as well as the regulations framed by the University Grant Commission.” 4. Learned counsel appearing for the University submits that he does not have the record of the case, therefore, he cannot make any statement in the matter. 5. From perusal of the relief clause, we are of the considered opinion that the writ petition 2025:UHC:3501-DB would have become infructuous by efflux of time, as the selection process initiated, pursuant to advertisement dated 04.11.2014 must have been completed by now. 6.
