The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.243 of 2024, corresponding to Spt. G.R. Case No.184 of 2024, arising out of Gumla P.S. Case No. 215 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302 & 201 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Gumla. On 29.06.2023 at about 11.00 p.m., the petitioner and co-accused persons are alleged to have abducted the son of the informant namely Durga Khariya and on the next day at about 7:00 A.M., his dead body was recovered from a place near Ledha Tesha Tongri. He was crushed to death. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
