The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No. 438/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 17(b), 21(b) & 27(a) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Seraikella. 3. On 06.12.2024, Adityapur police apprehended this petitioner and two other co-accused persons from H-Raod, Muslim Basti, Adityapur. On search, 30 grams of Brown Sugar was recovered from their joint possession. 4. It was submitted that quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph 17 of this bail application. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Seraikella in connection with Adityapur P.S.
