ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE N. V. ANJARIA)
The order which is brought under this contempt petition contains the directions in two parts. First is that the complainant-petitioner shall be reinstated immediately. Secondly, the petitioner is held entitled to all the consequential benefits arising out of his reinstatement, including the arrears of salary to be paid the benefits.
2. When the petition came up for consideration today, learned Additional Government Advocate Mr. S.H. Raghavendra produced a copy of the official memorandum dated 05.03.2025 which shows that the petitioner is reinstated and the posting is also given today. The other part of the direction regarding payment of the consequential benefits arising out of the reinstatement is yet to be complied with.
3. Learned Additional Government Advocate made a statement in this regard that the consequential benefits shall be paid to the petitioner within two weeks.
4. It is provided that the consequential benefits arising from the reinstatement shall be paid to the petitioner within six weeks from today.
5. With the above observations, the contempt petition is disposed of with further observation that, if rest of the part of payment of

consequential benefits are not complied with within the aforesaid stipulated time, the respondents shall be exposed to aggravated form of contempt.
