The present applicant ‘Shamsher’ is praying for regular bail in relation to First Information Report dated 01.11.2024 P.S. Selaqui, District Dehradun, registered as FIR No. 0156 of 2024, wherein, the present applicant has been implicated for the offences punishable under Sections 232, 376, 504 and 506 of IPC. 4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated and infact the respondent victim deliberately implicated the applicant since she was repeatedly asking for money from him, which is evident from Annexure-2. 5. Apart from this, he submits that absolutely a false allegations were alleged in the FIR that there is a video clip of the victim with the applicant and under the garb of which he was repeatedly giving threatening. He submits that this is a completely a concocted story. 6. On the other side, learned State counsel submits that after thorough investigation and after collecting the credible evidence the chargesheet has been filed and furthermore he submits that not only this even the victim in her statement recorded under Sections 180 and 183 of Cr.P.C. fully supports the prosecution. 7. After hearing the arguments of learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the FIR and other relevant records and the arguments advanced by the learned State counsel on the basis of written instruction, this court does not find any merit in the bail application. 2025:UHC:2289 8.
