ORAL ORDER
Petitioner is seeking for writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to consider the representation/ complaint dated 27.06.2024 filed by the petitioner at Annexure ‘A’ and take appropriate action against respondent No.2 in accordance with law.
2. Heard the counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. Petitioner, a senior citizen aged about 93 years approached the respondent No.2 sometime in the year 2019 and deposited the hard earned money by way of a fixed deposit. The petitioner had to withdraw the fixed deposit and when a request was made to the respondent No.2 bank, the deposit being around Rs.27,30,000 inspite

of several attempts made by the petitioner and also to the legal notice issued, gave evasive reply. The petitioner submitted a complaint through email to RBI and the RBI after consideration of the complaint issued a closure report contending that the Society-respondent No.2 was not covered under the Reserve Bank - Integrated Ombudsman Scheme 2021 and stated that the respondent No.2 which made the petitioner to file a representation/complaint to the respondent No.1 - Registrar. The complaint was filed way back on 27.06.2024, non consideration of the representation/complaint has made the petitioner to approach this Court.
4. Learned AGA submits that if some reasonable time is granted, the same would be considered in accordance with law.

6. The grievance of the petitioner is met if necessary direction is issued for consideration of the same and as such this Court pass the following order.
ORDER (a) The writ petition is disposed of. (b) The respondent No.1 is directed to consider the representation/complaint dated 27.06.2024 at Annexure ‘A’ and after hearing the parties pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within an outer limit of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
