The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No. 394 of 2023 (S.T. Case No.16 of 2024), for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201, 120(B) of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned A.C.J.-XX, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No.11416 of 2023 by order dated 08.04.2024. On 13.12.2022, there was some dispute between the accused persons and cousin of the informant, due to which he was murdered. The accused persons are alleged to have carried the dead body of the deceased. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.R.I. It was further submitted that dead body of the deceased was recovered on the basis of confession of co-accused. It was finally submitted that co-accused Sampati Devi has been granted bail by this court vide B.A. No.9381 of 2024. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the fact that nothing incriminating was recovered on the pointing out of the petitioner. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.-XX, Ranchi, in connection with Namkum P.S.
