Present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure aggrieved by the FIR dated 02.09.2016, registered at Police Station Deepka, District Korba as Crime No. 209 of 2016 for the offence under Section 498-A, 34 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act against the petitioners and also challenging the criminal proceeding initiated against the petitioners. 2. The petitioners have filed the present CRMP with the following reliefs: “It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and quash the FIR dated 02.09.2016, registered at Police Station Deepka, District Korba (C.G.) as Crime No. 209 of 2016 as well as the criminal proceeding initiated against the petitioners, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submits that the petitioners do not want to press the present petition, as the matter has been compromised between the parties and the same has become infructuous. 4. The submission made by learned counsel for the petitioners is not disputed by the counsel appearing for the respondents. 5. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the present 3 CRMP stands disposed of as not pressed. Interim order granted earlier, if any, is also vacated.
