Case No. 32 of 2025, corresponding to POCSO Case No.73 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 65(1)/62/74/75 of B.N.S. and Sections 8/12 of POCSO Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih. Petitioner used to stalk the daughter of the informant. On 18.03.2025, petitioner intercepted the victim and he is alleged to have outraged her modesty. Attention has been drawn towards the statement of the victim recorded under Section 180 of the B.N.S.S., in which, she has stated that the petitioner told her to accompany him on his motorcycle. On the way, he proposed to marry her and he also took the photograph of the victim. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for the last six months. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih, in connection with Dumri P.S.
