Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. Nath, learned counsel for the sole respondent. 2] Mr. D. Nath, learned counsel for the respondent has produced a copy of minutes of meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) regarding appointment on compassionate ground dated 11.09.2025 conducted on 11.09.2025 and submits that the case of the petitioner was considered in compliance of the order dated 20.09.2023, passed in WP(C) No. 242/2023 whereby after considering all aspects including the order of this Court, the DLC decided not to recommend the application of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground. Mr. D. Nath, learned counsel for the respondent further Page No.# 2/2 submits that in view of the above order and directions, this Court’s order dated 20.09.2023, passed in WP(C) No. 242/2023 and the contempt proceeding have substantially been complied with and therefore, he prays for closing of the contempt petition. 3] The learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. M. Hussain has not disputed the submissions of the learned counsel for the respondent. However, he prays for a liberty to be granted to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy in the event any surviving grievance remains. 4] The minutes of meeting of the District Level Committee regarding appointment on compassionate ground dated 11.09.2025 be kept as a part of record of this contempt proceedings and marked as Document “X”. 5] In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and the substantial compliance of the directions issued by this Court, no further order is called for in the present proceeding. 6] Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. 7] With the above observations and direction, this contempt petition stands closed. 8] It is however, made clear that if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the subsequent order of the authorities, it shall be open to the petitioner to avail such remedy as may be available in law.
