While placing on record copy of office order dated 10.12.2025, issued under the signatures of Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Vibhag, Division Jawali, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General, states that sum of Rs. 14,96,447/- was released to Sh. Chain Singh in April, 2025 towards his pending bills, as recorded in office letter dated
29.11.2025. Pursuant to order passed in the instant proceedings and as per demand again raised by the office of Jal Shakti Vibhag, Dharamshala has allocated an additional amount of Rs. 6, 29, 382 /- to discharge the remaining liability of Sh. Chain Singh. In view of aforesaid allocation, office has prepared and submitted bill of Rs. 6, 29, 382/- to the Treasury for payment to Sh. Chain Singh. It has been further stated in the aforesaid communication, which is taken on record that as of today sum of Rs. 21, 25, 829/- has been paid to the petitioner and now nothing remains to be paid to him.
In view of aforesaid, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant application and accordingly, same is disposed of as having rendered infructuous. Needless to say, sum of Rs. 6, 29, 382/-, if not released, shall be released by the treasury concerned within a period of one week. (Sandeep Sharma) Judge December 22, 2025 (shankar)
