This Criminal Petit'lon, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/A2 and A3, seek'lng regular bail, in Crime No.107 of 2024 of Koyyuru Police Station, Alluri S'ltharama Raju district. i/ I ± -`-+ 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners herein and others for the offences punishable under sections 111 (2)(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sect;;ns 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances Act, 1985 (for short tthe NDPS Act'). 3. Caseoftheprosecution, in brief, istha{, on ll.12.2024, at about 17.00 hours, on receipt of credible I-nfOrmatiOn, the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Koyyuru Police Station, AIIuri Sitharama Raju district, along with his staff and mediators, while conducting vehicle checking at Bangarampeta village outsk,'rts, Anthada Panchayat, Koyyuru, Mandal, found the accused in possession and I-IIegal transportation of 13.5 KGs of Ganja on Suzuki Access vehicle bearl-ng registration No.AP 39 RH 5126. The contraband along wl-th vehicle and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Th'e quantity of Ganja allegedly seized from the possession Of the accused iS 13.5 Kgs, which is not a commercial quantity. Petitioners herein were arrested on ll.12.2O24 and since then they are I'n judicial remand. Learned =E= _ Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that major portion of investigation has beeh completed. 6. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners/A2 and A3 on the following conditions. i) The petitioners/A2 and A3 shall be released on bail on their executing personal bonds for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District and Sessions .
