GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following ORAL ORDER: Heard Sri L.V.S.Naga Raju, Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and Sri Arjun Chowdary, learned Asst. Government Pleader for Revenue. 2. The present Writ Petition is filed by the Writ Petitioner challenging the proposal of the Official Respondents for allotting their land to the houseless poor people by way of house sites. Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the newspaper clipping dated 18.11.2024 (Ex.P.1) which indicates that the local Revenue Divisional Officer has visited the subject land for the purpose of providing house sites to the landless Scheduled Caste eligible persons. 3. Learned Asst. Government Pleader has submitted the Written Instructions dated 29.11.2024, furnished by the Tahilsdar, R.C.Puram. Copy of it has been served on the learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same is taken on record. 4. The relevant portion of the Written Instruction is usefully extracted hereunder: “Regarding prayer of the petitioner is that not to disposses her from the petitioner schedule lands. In this connection it is submitted that, the petitioner is not in possession and enjoyment in petitioners schedule land and hence the question of dispossession is does not arise. It is submitted that, there is no proposal for grant of assignment to pattas to any body and with the apprehension the petitioner has filed this writ petition and the same be dismissed devoid of merits.” 3 5. The above extract would indicate that there is no proposal from the side of the Government for grant of Assignment Pattas to anybody and that the Writ Petitioner has approached this court with the apprehension that her land may be acquired for the said purpose. The above extract would therefore indicate that, there is no such proposal of acquiring the land of the Writ Petitioner for grant of house sites. In terms of the above extract, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this Writ Petition at the admission stage, without going into merit of the case. 6. With these observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. 7.
