MP No.5523 of 2025 The present application has been filed on behalf of the applicant-petitioner for release of the amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court. 2. As per the applicant, during pendency of the main revision petition, the applicant/petitioner deposited the entire amount of compensation in the Registry of this Court. It is averred in the application that the matter has been decided on 10.01.2025 as the applicant-petitioner has settled the whole loan account and other liabilities with the respondent-Bank under One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme. Therefore, it is prayed that the entire amount of compensation lying deposited in the Registry of this Court may kindly be released/refunded in favour of the applicant. 3. Learned counsel for the non-applicant/ respondent has submitted that he has no objection in case the amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court is released to the applicant-appellant as the matter stands already compromised between the parties. 4. Heard. Having perused the averments made in the application, which are duly supported with the affidavit of applicant/petitioner and also in view of the fact that the matter stood compromised between the parties and the revision petition has been finally disposed of, this Court finds it in the interest of justice to release/refund the entire amount of compensation, lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, alongwith up-to-date interest, in favour of the applicant- petitioner, after proper verification and identification by remitting the same to his bank account, details whereof have been given in para-3 of the application.
