Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) As despite service, none has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent, the respondent is ordered to be proceeded against ex parte.
2. By way of this petition, the petitioner is seeking the transfer of the proceedings which have been initiated by the respondent against her under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, from Chamba to Hamirpur.
3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner informed the Court that the petitioner is unemployed and is presently residing with her parents and in these circumstances, it is extremely difficult for her to defend herself in the matter at Chamba which is far away from Hamirpur, Learned Counsel also informed the Court that the 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2025:HHC:38723 petitioner also has two minor daughters to look after and in these circumstances also, travel from her native place to Chamba to defend the case is very cumbersome.

As there is no opposition to the petition, because the respondent despite service has chosen not to appear before the Court, this petition is allowed, as prayed for and the proceedings, i.e. Case titled Tilak Raj Versus Shashi, H.M. Misc. Petition No.66 of 2024, pending before the Court of learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chamba, District Chamba, H.P., are ordered to be transfer to the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Hamirpur, District Hamirpur, H.P..
5. The petition stands disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any also stand disposed of accordingly.
