Order 08/01/2025
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a retired employee from government services. However, at this nascent juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw the present petition and avail the alternative, efficacious remedy and approach the learned RAT. Successively, learned counsel has made a prayer to direct learned RAT to consider the plea of the petitioner immediately.
[2025:RJ-JP:1139] (2 of 2) [CW-18905/2024] Considering the fact that the petitioner was a government servant and the instant matter falls under the ambit of ‘service matters’, this Court deems it appropriate to direct learned RAT to adjudicate the matter of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of filing of the petition before it. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid directions. Pending applications, if any, shall stand
disposed of.
