The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Giridih (M) P.S. Case No. 327 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 274, 275, 292 of the B.N.S., read with Section 47(a) of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Giridih. 3. On 02.11.2024, Giridih (M) Police intercepted a Bolero bearing Registration No. JH11P4273 at Tigojori Road and seized about 172 bottles of whiskey from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle. It was further submitted that the driver of the vehicle, without the consent and knowledge of the petitioner, was transporting the seized contraband. It was further submitted that the offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Giridih in connection with Giridih (M) P.S.
