ORDER This Transfer Petition has been filed to transfer C. C. No.594/2018 pending on the files of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court (Economic Offences), Ernakulam to the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Ernakulam.
2. I have heard Sri. Millu Dandapani, the learned counsel for the petitioners, Smt. Sreeja V., the learned Senior Public Prosecutor and Sri. Renjith B. Marar, the
learned counsel for the 2nd respondent.
3. The petitioners are the accused and the 2nd respondent is the defacto complainant. Altogether 14 cases with identical nature were registered against the petitioners, out of which 11 cases mentioned in paragraph 15 of the Transfer Petition were already transferred to the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Ernakulam pursuant to the direction of the Supreme Court. Since this case is also similar in nature as that of the 11 cases already transferred,
2025:KER:30440 TR.P.(CRL.) NO.9 OF 2025 4 it is just and proper that this is also tried by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Ernakulam. Moreover, the counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that he has no objection in ordering transfer. Hence, this Transfer Petition is allowed and C. C. No.594/2018 pending on the files of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court (Economic Offences), Ernakulam is withdrawn and transferred to Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Ernakulam for trial and disposal.
