The prayer in this petition is for issuance of a mandamus to direct respondent No.2 to issue E-khata to the petitioner in respect of the property bearing PID No.192/B/104/B42, 192/B/104/B42/1 and 192/B/104/B42/2 in respect of which a manual khata has been issued. 2. Learned counsel for the Municipal Council points out that as per Annexure – G, the petitioner was called upon to furnish certain documents and since the same has not been furnished the request of the petitioner for issuance of an E-khata has remained unconsidered. 3. In the light of the above, the petitioner is permitted to furnish the documents sought for at Annexure – G to facilitate the Municipal Council to issue an E – Khata in respect of the petitioner’s property. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:3691 WP No. 30191 of 2024 4. It is needless to state that if the petitioner has been issued the manual khata, there can be no impediment for the Municipality to issue an E-khata since it has already recognized the petitioner as the person primarily liable to pay tax and has entered his name in the records. 5. This petition is accordingly disposed of directing the petitioner to furnish the documents thereafter the Panchayat shall consider the same and pass an order within a period of three weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of the documents. 6. It is also open for the petitioner to file his objections to Annexure – G and narrate as to why these documents sought for were unnecessary for the consideration of E- khata since manual khata has already been issued in his name. 7.
