ORAL ORDER
The petitioner, in the captioned writ petition, is seeking mandamus against respondent No.4 – Tahasildar to place an application tendered by the petitioner’s husband seeking regularization of the land bearing Sy. No.15 measuring 2 acres situated at Awarehalli Village,

Maadabala Hobli, Magadi Taluk before the Committee vide representation dated 21.12.2022.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA appearing for the respondents – State.
3. The records reveal that on receipt of application, respondent No.4 – Tahasildar has secured Spot Inspection Report from the Village Accountant and the Revenue Inspector. which is evidenced at Annexures-F and F.1. Respondent No.4 – Tahasildar, who is in receipt of report, is required to place all these documents along with applications filed in the prescribed Form before the Land Grant Committee.
4. The application is tendered by the petitioner’s husband in Form No.51. Learned AGA would submit to this Court that if this application is still pending consideration, respondent No.4 – Tahasildar will ensure that the same will be placed before the Committee for further course of action.

5. Recording her assurance, this Court proceeds to pass the following;
ORDER (i) The writ petition is allowed.
(ii) Respondent No.4 – Tahasildar shall examine whether petitioner’s husband’s application is still kept pending consideration.
(iii) In the event the petitioner’s husband’s application filed in Form No.51 is still pending, the same shall be forwarded to the Land Grant Committee without any further delay.
(iv) If the application filed in Form No.51 is placed before the Land Grant Committee, the Committee shall conduct thorough enquiry as contemplated under Rule 108D of the Land Revenue Rules and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

(v) The Land Grant Committee on receipt of application and other relevant documents shall pass final orders within three months from the date of receipt of proposal from respondent No.4 – Tahasildar.
