By this petition, petitioner herein is seeking direction upon respondent No. 2 to issue passport in her favour. 2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that issuance of passport has been denied by the respondents, on the ground that her previous passport reflects the name of her husband as “Mushtaq Ahmad Khan” instead of “Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar”. It is further stated that the petitioner has already been divorced on 17.05.2009, by way of a Divorce Deed dated 11.07.2020. The Divorce Deed has also been placed on record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also placed on record the Domicile Certificate dated 14.01.2023, wherein father’s name of the petitioner has been mentioned. 4. Mr. T.M Shamsi, learned DSGI for the respondents states that taking into account the divorce of the petitioner, respondents may be directed to consider the issuance of passport on the basis of the details mentioned in the Domicile Certificate dated 14.01.2023. 5. In view of the statement made by Mr. T.M Shamsi, learned DSGI , the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for issuance of the passport, taking into account the details mentioned in the Domicile Certificate of the petitionerdated 14.01.2023and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order. 6.
