2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 496 of 2023 arising out of Taratand P.S. Case No. 18 of 2020 for the offences registered under sections 147/148/323/504/506/302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Giridih.
3. On 25.06.2020, there was some altercation between the accused persons and the Informant party. It is alleged that the petitioner has assaulted the wife of the Informant by brick, due to which, she lost her consciousness. It appears that during the course of treatment, after five days, she succumbed to her injury.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that after the investigation, police submitted charge sheet only under section 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It was further submitted that the learned Magistrate had taken cognizance of the offence under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. It was further submitted that even assuming the allegation to be true, at best, offence will be made out under section 304-A of the Indian Penal Code. It was finally submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail as well as anticipatory bail by this court as well as by the Coordinate Bench of this Court.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Giridih in connection with S.T. No. 496 of 2023 arising out of Taratand P.S. Case No. 18 of 2020.
