The marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnised on 25.04.1983 at Paduvilayi Temple at Kannur District, as per Hindu religious rites and rituals. Two children were born out of the wedlock. 3. The petitioner is the permanent resident of Thamarassery Taluk in Kozhikode District. It is very difficult for her to travel from Thamarassery to Thalassery on all postings. It is 70 km's away from the residence of the petitioner. There are no other persons to look after the petitioner and the sick girl child. Thus, the petitioner seeks transfer of the above O.P. No.1035 of 2024 to the Family Court, Vadakara, which is comparatively near to her residence. 4. On receipt of the notice, the learned counsel entered appearance for the respondent. 5. The learned counsel for the respondent submits TR.P(C) NO. 94 OF 2025 4 2025:KER:30069 that he has no objection in transferring the case that is filed by him. Therefore, the transfer petition is allowed, and O.P.No.1035 of 2024 pending before the Family Court, Thalassery, is withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court, Vadakara. 6. In the result, the Family Court, Thalassery shall immediately transfer the records to the Family Court Vadakara. On receipt of the records, the Family Court Vadakara shall dispose of the case in accordance with law. The parties are directed to appear before Family Court, Vadakara on 03.05.2025. The Tr.P(C) is allowed as above.
