Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No. 229/2024, for the offence under sections 317(5) 3(5)of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and section 20 of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act-cum-Sessions Judge, Koderma. On 24.10.2024 at about 05:50 p.m., Koderma police, intercepted a Mahindra XUV-500 bearing registration no. DL-12-CA-6650 from a place near Meghatari check post and on search 2 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the said vehicle. The petitioner is driver-cum-owner of the said vehicle. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph 9 of this bail application. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S.
