The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chirkunda (Maithon O.P.) P.S.Case No.208 of 2025, for offence registered under section 317(5) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and sections 11(1)(e)(h)(i)(k) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, Section 47,48,50, 52, 54, 56(b), 56(c) of Transport of Animal Rules, Section 12(2), 12(3) of Jharkhand Bovine Animals Prohibition of Slaughter Act, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner cum driver of the vehicle in question and the allegations are made that bovine animals were being carried on the said vehicle. He further submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that in a cruel manner the bovine animals were being carried in the said vehicle. 5. Considering that petitioner is the owner cum driver of the vehicle in question and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad, in connection with Chirkunda (Maithon O.P.) P.S.Case No.208 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. ( Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) 16.10.2025 SI/
