The petitioner preferred the present review petition for recalling of the order dated 09.04.2025 passed by this Court in WPS No. 9226/2023, which has been dismissed by this Court as withdrawn with liberty to approach the authority as prescribed under the Regulation 262 of the Chhattisgarh Police Regulations. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner preferred WPS No. 9226/2023 questioning the order dated 31.07.2021 passed by the Director General, Jail and Correctional Services, C.G. Raipur. He would submit that due to some confusion the petitioner withdrew the writ petition contending that the petitioner wish to file the appeal before the appellate authority as prescribed under the Regulation 262 of the Chhattisgarh Police Regulations. Whereas, the order which was under challenge in writ petition was an order of the appellate authority under the aforesaid provision . Thus, he would pray for recalling of the order dated 09.04.2025 passed in WPS No. 9226/2023 and for restoration of the same to its original number. 3. Considering the entire facts situations of the case, particularly considering the fact that the order dated 31.07.2021 has been passed by the appellate authority/Director General, Jail and Correctional Services, C.G. Raipur, and also the fact that the writ petition was withdrawn due to some confusion, and also in the 3 interest of justice, the order dated 09.04.2025 passed in WPS No. 9226/2023 is recalled and the said writ petition is restored to its original number. 4.
