Hon’ble Alok Kumar Verma,J. This is an Application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 2. The applicant-accused was convicted under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. He filed a Criminal Appeal (Criminal Appeal No.346 of 2024, “Sushil Kumar Sharma Vs. State of Uttarakhand and Another”). The said Appeal is pending before the Ist Additional District and Sessions Judge, Dehradun. A direction was issued to the applicant-appellant to deposit 20% amount within 60 days. The said amount has not been deposited. 3. Mr. Ramji Srivastava, Advocate, on instructions from the applicant, submitted that the applicant is ready to deposit 20% amount before the 2025:UHC:1509 2 concerned court. However, he has requested to permit the applicant to deposit the said amount in two parts. Applicant undertakes that he shall deposit his first part by 01.04.2025 and the second part shall be deposited by him till 21.04.2025. 4. On the request of Mr. Ramji Srivastava, Advocate, and in view of the said undertakings, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is disposed of accordingly. ___________________ ALOK KUMAR VERMA, J.
