Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. Petitioner submits that she has advanced information to the Superintendent of Police, Kakdwip Police District as also Officer-in-Charge, Namkhana Police Station. The subject-matter of such information was in respect of certain miscreants trying to dispossess the petitioner as also restrain the petitioner from entering the property. Additionally, it has been alleged that the miscreants have been dismantling valuable trees, looting fishes and causing mischief so far as the cultivated land is concerned. State has submitted a report which reflects that the property is a Debottor property. Having regard to the nature of the information which has been furnished to the police authorities, petitioner, if so advised, would 2 approach the learned Magistrate under Section 175(3) of BNSS. Learned Magistrate would assess and ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 17076 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
