1. The petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated 21.03.2025 passed by the Lieutenant Governor under section 68(2)(a) of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Cooperative Societies Regulation, 1973.
2. An appeal was filed against the order dated 18.12.2024 by which the arbitrator refused an interim order. Subsequent thereto, a final award of the arbitrator was passed on
29.01.2025.
3. It is submitted that the appellate authority committed error in disposing of the entire appeal originally filed against the interim order without considering the subsequent events i.e. passed by the arbitrator in the interregnum.
4. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioner can be addressed, if an independent appeal is filed against award of the arbitrator dated 29.01.2025 under section 68(2)(a) of the aforesaid regulation, within a period of seven days from date in

which case the bar of limitation under regulations shall not be applicable to such appeal.
5. If such appeal is filed, the Lieutenant Governor is requested to dispose of the same within a period of two months thereafter.
6. With the aforesaid observations, WPA/316/2025 stands
disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this
order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
