Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 183 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 49, 318(4), 61(2), 317(1), 111, 275, 276 & 286 of the B.N.S., Section 22(b) of NDPS Act and Section 27(b)(ii) and 18(c) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Ramgarh.
On 11.07.2025, Ramgarh Police on the basis of confidential information apprehended the petitioner along co-accused persons. On search, 165 pieces of pentazocine lactate injections were recovered from their joint possession.
It was submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by the Coordinate Bench of this Court earlier.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Ramgarh, in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 183 of
2025.
