For the Informant: Mr. Ranjan Kumar, Advocate --- 03 / 15.10.2025 Heard the parties. 2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jharia P.S. Case No. 335 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(2), 117(2), 118(1), 109, 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad. 3. On 20.12.2024 between 1.30 to 2.00 p.m., petitioner along with co- accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the Informant, due to which, he lost sight of one of his eyes. It is alleged that the co-accused Vivek Singh had assaulted him on his eye, due to which he sustained injury and ultimately, he lost sight of one of his eyes. 4. Attention has been drawn towards the statement of the independent witnesses including Rohit Kumar whose statement has been recorded in para-7 of the case diary. This witness has stated that the co-accused persons were quarreling with the Informant and the petitioner was trying to pacify the matter. 5. Mr. Ranjan Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Informant, has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. 6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad in connection with Jharia P.S.
