The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No.76 of 2025 arising out of Meharma P.S. Case No. 121 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 238 & 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023. Charge has been framed under Sections 103(1)/3(5), 201/3(5), 61(2) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, 1st Class, Godda. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.1365 of 2025 by order dated 18.02.2025. The petitioner happens to be the daughter-in-law of the deceased Noorjahan. It is alleged that she was having illicit relationship with one Md. Asif Imran. The deceased opposed their nefarious activities. On being agitated, the petitioner and her paramour, murdered her and her dead body was dumped in septic tank. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, her prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned trial court shall expedite the trial.
