Shekhawat, PP with Mr. Dharm Singh, PS Shivdaspura, Jaipur Mr. Prakash Chand Yadav HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SAMEER JAIN Judgment 08/05/2025 The present petition is filed for quashing of the FIR No. 232/2024 registered at Police Station Shivdaspura, District Jaipur City (south) on the basis of compromise effectuated inter-se the parties herein for amicably putting a quietus to the ongoing dispute. Having heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the rival parties, upon consideration of the allegations leveled in the FIR, the record of criminal antecedents registered against the accused-petitioner and the submissions made by the Investigating Officer qua the character of the accused-petitioner, [2025:RJ-JP:19504] (2 of 2) [CRLMP-8281/2024] whereby it is stated that the accused-petitioner is a habitual offender, this Court is of a prima facie opinion that the compromise so effectuated herein, is made to be signed under coercion and not out of a free consent from the complainant-party. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to allow the present petition and quash the impugned FIR. Accordingly, present petition is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
