The office of the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Gokak, within whose limits the petitioner resides, in terms of the address furnished has filed its Report on service of such notice. It is seen from this Report that notice is served on the petitioner’s brother. However, no arrangement is made for due representation. On merits, Sri. Praveen K. Uppar, the learned Additional Government Advocate, submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the second respondent’s order dated 19.01.2013 resulting in the confirmation of the rejection of the petitioner’s application for Caste certificate; that the petitioner’s application is rejected because, as against Income Limit of Rs.2,00,000/- per annum, he had an income of Rs.2,09,277/- but thereafter, more particularly from the year 2012 onwards, the Income Limit has been increased and it would be open to the petitioner to apply for caste certificate. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:231 WP No. 107769 of 2016 These submissions are taken on record and the petition stands disposed of with all just liberty to the petitioner.
