This writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "(I) issue a writ, order of direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents 1st set to ensure strict compliance of decision of Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Lalita Kumari versus State of U.P. reported in 2014 (2) SCC 1 as well as decision of this Hon'ble Court in case of Smt. Razeena Bano & others versus State of U.P. & others reported in 2015 (2) ADJ 232 and register first information report against respondents 2nd set in appropriate sections in the light of Circular dated 6.11.2014 issue by Director General of Police Uttar Pradesh as quoted in judgment of Smt. Razeena Bano's case." Upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Court is of the view that this case is not such a case where the High Court would directly pass an order for the lodging of the F.I.R. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the F.I.R. was not being lodged then he may move an application before the relevant authorities under Section 174(3) of B.N.S.S. If such an application is moved, it shall be dealt with in accordance with law. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. September 9, 2025 M.S.
