1.GPFOR SERVICES IV The Court made the following ORDER: Heard Sri N.B. Chandra Sekhar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri S. Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 and Sri G. Srinivasulu Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondent No.4.

Earlier, the petitioner, Mandal Parishad Development Officer, Naguluppalapadu, Prakasham District, filed the above writ petition to declare the action of the respondents in not considering his case for promotion to the . post of DLDO/joint director/equivalent post, due to the pendency of charge memo No. 14774/CPR&RE/A3, dated 01.11.2011, as illegal and arbitrary.
SRS,J W.P.No.l078of 2025 The petitioner filed W.P.No.27005/2024, complaining non-conclusion of inquiry and the said writ petition was disposed of on 22.11.2024, directing the ’ competent authority therein to conclude the inquiry within three months.
3. At the hearing,
learned counsel for the petitioner confined his
arguments and urged, to direct, respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner’s case for promotion in terms of G.O.Ms.No.257 General Administration (Ser.C) Department, dated 10.06.1999.

5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services did not refute the submission. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, with the consent of learned counsel on either side, directing respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner’s case for promotion to the post of DLDO/joint director/equivalent post, strictly in terms of G.O.Ms.No.257, dated 10.06.1999, as and when DPC is constituted, if the petitioner’s case is in the zone of
consideration. No order as to costs.
6. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
