Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. By way of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. At the very outset, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions received, submitted that there is hardly any threat in respect of respondent no. 4 and no one is interfering in the married life of the petitioners and as such, petitioners are not entitled to get any relief. The said instructions are taken on record. 4. In view of the instructions, the present petition stands dismissed. 5. However, it is made clear that the protection granted earlier to the petitioners is hereby discontinued and extension shall be subject to fresh assessment made by concerned police authority. 6. In future if any apprehension of threat has been reported by the petitioners after assessing the security threat, then appropriate action may be initiated at the end of the concerned police authority.
