[2025:RJ-JP:602-DB] (2 of 2) [CRLW-2157/2024] Rs.50,000/- and two sureties of Rs.50,000/- each. It is contended that since petitioner has remained in custody for a period of 17 and a half years and there is no one who would stand surety for the petitioner even after a lapse of more than one and a half months, petitioner could not arrange for the surety. Petitioner is in open jail. 3. We have considered the contentions. 4. Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in custody for a period of 17 and a half years and her application for permanent parole was allowed, but she is not in a position to furnish the sureties, we deem it proper to allow the present Criminal Writ Petition (Parole) and waive the condition of furnishing two sureties of Rs.50,000/- each. 5. We, therefore, deem it proper to modify the order dated 19.11.2024 qua the petitioner and further direct to release the petitioner on personal bond of Rs.50,000/- only. The condition of furnishing two sureties of Rs.50,000/- each is waived. 6. With the above observation, Criminal Writ Petition (Parole) is accordingly allowed.
