1. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following reliefs:
“10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the application filed by the petitioner as early as possible. 10.2 That any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper may also be granted in favor of the petitioner safeguarding her interest.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had submitted an application before the Collector, Korea on 28.7.2012, seeking an extension of validity period of the license. He would contend that the State authorities directed the District Magistrate to provide the necessary documents but till date, the application has not been finally decided. Thus, he would pray for a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the application filed by the petitioner.

On the other hand, learned counsel for respondent No.1 would submit that according to Schedule-II of the Arms Rules, 2016, the petitioner was required to move an application before the Ministry of Home Affairs/ Union of India. Since no such application has been moved, the application moved by the petitioner has not been decided.

5. Taking into consideration the submissions made by counsel for the
3 parties, it is directed that, if the petitioner makes a fresh representation/ application alongwith the relevant documents, the same shall be considered and decided by the Competent Authority strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period fo 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order.
6. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of at admission stage. Sd/-
