On this auspicious occasion of Lok Adalat, after successful conciliation, settlement is arrived at in this matter. Accordingly, Settlement purshish signed by learned advocate for the appellant and respondent No.3 – Insurance Company is tendered and the same is taken on record. 2. For the sake of convenience, settlement purshish dated 12.07.2025 produced before the Court is reproduced hereunder:- “SETTLEMENT PURSIS 1. The Original Claimant - present appellants have settled the above matter with the Respondent no. 3- New India Assurance Co. The present appellant and the respondent have settled the matter whereby the respondent no. 3 that is New india Assurance Co. Ltd shall deposit an amount of Rs. 4,30,000/- over an above the amount deposited by them before the Tribunal. The amount of Rs. 4,30,000/- is inclusive of interest and the appellants claimants shall have not further grievance in the present matter. 2. The amount so deposited shall kindly be disbursed to the claimant after due verification by way of Account Payee Cheque/NEFT/RTGS. 3. In light of this settlement pursis, it is prayed to C/FA/1554/2025 CONCILIATION ORDER DATED: 12/07/2025 the Hon'ble Court to dispose of the captioned matter. The court fees, if any, may be refunded back to the appellants. 3. As per the said purshish, the Insurance Company has accepted the offer of the original claimants to settle the appeal by paying an additional amount of compensation of Rs.4,30,000/- including basic award + interest and cost, as full and final settlement amount. 4. In view of the settlement purshish, the concerned Tribunal is directed to disburse the same in favour of claimants as per the award, after due verification by way of A/c. Payee Cheque or NEFT / RTGS. 5. The appeal stands disposed of in terms of settlement purshish. 6. Mr.Vibhuti Nanavati the learned advocate appears for the respondent. His Vakalatnama be taken on record. 7. Necessary Court fees, if any, be refunded to the appellants, as per the provisions of Section 21(1) of the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987. 8.
