The instant Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short “Cr.P.C.”) has been filed, by the Petitioner/Appellant, seeking to quash the Order dated 15.09.2022 in Crl.M.P.No.658 of 2022 in Crl.A.No.258 of 2017 on the file of the Court of Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SCs & STs (PoA) Act, 1989–cum-X Additional District and Sessions Judge, Machilipatnam, Krishna District.
2. Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1/State submits that the Trial Court confirmed the appeal on 10.11.2023 and that the cause in the criminal petition does not survive for adjudication and the relief has become infructuous.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for respondent No.1 are in attendance.
4. In that view, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
