The present interlocutory application has been filed by the petitioners and the informant stating that the parties have compromised Bariatu P.S. Case No.80/2024, registered under Sections 406/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of Sri P. K. Verma, learned J.M., Ranchi. It has been prayed that the parties may be permitted to compound the case.
Md. Faruque Ansari, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party No.2 affirms the fact that the parties have settled their disputes.
Offence under Sections 406/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code is compoundable with the permission of the Court. As the parties have settled their disputes, they are permitted to compound the case.
Accordingly, the aforesaid Interlocutory Application stands allowed. Cr.M.P. No. 325 of 2025
In view of the order passed in I.A. No.3548/2025 that the parties have settled their disputes, the proceeding of Bariatu P.S. Case No.80/2024, registered under Sections 406/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code, qua the petitioners, is quashed.
Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed. Pending I.A., if any, also stands disposed of.
