This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of orders dated 09.10.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.24561/2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, in spite of the directions given by this Court in W.P.No.24561/2023, the authorities have issued a notice to the petitioner under Section 7 of the A.P.Land Encroachment Act, 1905. Questioning the same, the petitioner has filed a writ petition vide
W.P.No.93723/2024, wherein this Court has granted interim order. In spite of the same, the authorities have demolished the structures in the subject property in the said writ petition. As such, there is disobedience on the part of the respondents in violating the orders of this Court and prayed to punish the respondents/contemnors under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
3. It is very surprising to notice that, when the authorities have violated the interim orders passed in the W.P.No.93723/2024 which is pending adjudication, the petitioner has filed a contempt case against orders dated 09.10.2023 passed in W.P.No.24561/2023. In view of the same, there is no contempt as alleged by the petitioner, as such, the contempt is liable to be dismissed.
Accordingly, the contempt case is dismissed. No costs.
Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
