On an oral request, leave is granted to add the District Compensation Determination Committee, Yavatmal headed by District Collector, Yavatmal, as party respondent no. 7. The amendment be carried out forthwith. 3. In the present matter, though compensation for construction of houses was granted, delay was caused in paying such compensation. However, interest for such delayed payment was not granted. This grievance resulted into filing of this petition by the petitioners. 4. Ms. Ashwini Athalye, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 6, fairly states that there is Committee headed by Collector namely the District Compensation Determination Committee. Such decision about payment of interest etc. has to be taken by the Committee and if the Committee recommends or determines such amount of interest, respondent no. 6 shall act upon it. In the circumstances, we are of the opinion that this petition can be disposed of with direction to newly added respondent no. 7 - the District Compensation Determination Committee, Yavatmal headed by District Collector, Yavatmal, to take into consideration the grievance made by the petitioners treating this petition as representation and take decision on the same and communicate the decision within one week from the date of decision to the petitioners as well as respondent no. 6.
