Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 582 of 2025 arising out of Sikidari P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 238, 3(5), 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Addl. Judicial Commissioner-XII, Ranchi.

On 19.03.2025 at about 2.30 pm, son of the informant, namely, Anil Prajapati, had gone to market. Thereafter he went missing. Later on, his dead body was recovered from a place near Check dam of Village-Sursu.

It was submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused-Sangita Devi, who was having love affairs with co-accused Vikas Kewat. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered on the pointing out of the petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Judicial Commissioner-XII, Ranchi, in connection with S.T. No. 582 of 2025 arising out of Sikidari P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025.
