I.A.Nos.1, 2, 3 and 4 of 2025 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION NO.7874 of 2023 COMMON ORDER: The instant petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner/Accused, seeking to quash the C.C.No.877 of 2023 on the file of IV Additional Junior Civil Judge-Cum-Judicial First Class Magistrate, Tirupati, for the offences punishable under Section 498A, 506 of IPC, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2. I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2025 is filed by the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant to compromise/compound the matter with the petitioners/accused No.1 in the present criminal petition in relation to C.C.No.877 of 2023 and a joint memo was filed. 3. I.A.No.3 of 2025 is filed by the petitioner/accused to appear online/virtually and depose in the present criminal petition. 4. I.A.No.4 of 2025 is filed by the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant to appear online/virtually and depose in the present criminal petition. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner1 and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/State as well as learned counsel representing for the 2nd respondent are present. 3
6. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioner and the respondent No.2 are present virtually. Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the 2nd respondent have identified the parties in the open Court. 7. This Court has questioned 2nd respondent herein/de facto complainant with regard to compromise, and she categorically stated to that extent that she has voluntarily entered into compromise with the petitioner herein/Accused No.1. This Court is satisfied with the identification of the parties and voluntariness in arriving at the compromise. 8. Since, the parties entered into settlement and compromise, the Criminal Petition is allowed and therefore, C.C.No.877 of 2023 on the file of IV Additional Junior Civil Judge-Cum-Judicial First Class Magistrate, Tirupati, is hereby quashed. 8. Accordingly, I.A.Nos.1, 2, 3 and 4 of 2025 and Criminal Petition No.7874 of 2023 are allowed. 9.
