1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 15.01.2025, passed in MCRC No. 8754 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Tekram Maheshwari, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (P.C. Act), Bemetara, District-Bemetara (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 01.07.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial.
4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in the present case, there are total 17 prosecution witnesses, out of which, evidence of 3 witnesses have been completed. The case has been scheduled for recording the remaining prosecution evidence on 09.07.2025 and 10.07.2025. Summons have been issued through the Superintendent of Police to ensure the necessary presence of the prosecution witnesses. Hence, it does not appear feasible to dispose of the case within the stipulated time therefore, he prays for grant of six months further time for concluding the same.
5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today.
6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
